Saturday, March 3, 2007 Just watched a story about your broom shop on Kentucky Farm Bureau's "Bluegrass and Backroads" hosted by Mike Feldhaus, WPSD-TV NBC Channel 6.
I used to travel Rt.348 to Symsonia frequently, but don't drive that way much anymore. When did you build a new store?
This month out-of-state relatives are coming to visit. I'm sure they would enjoy a visit to your broom making shop. Maybe we can catch one of you making a broom??
Glad you are preserving the family tradition & history!Admin reply: We built moved into our new store on July 1st, 2006. It is 8 1/2 miles from the Purchase Parkway overpass at Benton. We are in winter hours now. Saturday morning is the best time to see broms made right now, but we are open Sunday afternoons as weel ans right now in the afternoons. In sumer wea re open everyday, except Monday's. You may call for an appointment.
